STRATO.

To open the front grille.

The front grille is hinged at the  top and  secured by  spring loaded catches 
behind and at each side of the grille.
For under grille access press the two catches and  lift the grille , to close push
the grille down the catches are self locking.


To check the oil.

Open up front grille as above.
The dipstick and oil filler are located either on the right or left hand side depending on your engine.
Cummins NTE engine filler point & dipstick are on the R H side.
Cummins L10 engine filler point & dipstick are on the L H side.
Perkins TX Engine filler point & dipstick are on the L H side.


To check the coolant.

Open up front grille as above.
The header tank is located on top of the radiator block.
The pressure release / filler cap is to the front.


400 SERIES

To open the front grille.

Access to the two pull-type panel release handles is gained by opening the spring-loaded
lower portion of the grille.The handles are located below the locking catches on the front
vertical members of the cab frame.
The securing catches are self-locking when the grille is lowered and required only that the
panel be pushed firmly home at both sides.

To check the oil .

Open up front grille as above.
The dipstick is located behind the front grille.


To check coolant.

The header tank is located behind the cab.

200 SERIES

To open the front grille.

FRONT GRILLE ACCESS.

The front grille is secured by two 'DZUS' fasteners at the top of the panel. The bottom of the panel is located on two pegs attached to the cab front vertical members. To remove the grille panel :-

1. Using a screwdriver,or in the absence of a screwdriver, a coin of suitable size and thickness, press the   centre of the fastener IN and turn anti-clockwise until the head ejects and releases the panel at that point.

2.  Repeat the operation described in paragraph  1.  to the fastener on the other side of the grille.

3.  Pull the panel forward and remove it from the two location points on the front of the cab.

To replace the grille panel:-

1. Locate the panel on the mounting points and push forward until panel is flush with front of cab.

2.  Push and turn one fastener in a clockwise direction until panel is secured.

3. Repeat operation 2. to the fastener on the other side of the panel.

WARNING

DO NOT over tighten the fastener, use only sufficient torque to hold the panel in position.

To check the oil.

The dipstick is located at the left hand side of the vehicle to the rear of the cab.


To check the coolant.

The header tank is located behind the cab.


PACER.

To open front grille.

The front grille is hinged at the top and secured in the closed position by spring-loaded
catches mounted behind and at each side of the grille.
To access pull the grille levers inwards towards the centre of the vehicle and lift the grille to
the open position.The grille is held open by self locking struts.
To close lower grille and push bothsides firmly untill catches have caught.


To check oil.

Dipstick and oil filler are located behind the front grille, to the bottom right.

To check coolant.

The coolant reservoir is located behind the front grille to the right.

To check windscreen wash.

The windscreen wash reservoir is located behind the front grille to the left of the coolant reservoir.
